I loved making these cards. To start with I looked at sewn cards on pinterest for inspiration, then when I decided on a theme I had to make the templates. I chose a bird theme and then used a basic circle to create the birds. I used the cricut machine to find a background design for the cards to try to make them look more professional. I wanted a black and white design so that the colours of the fabric popped out. I played with a single sewn line around the birds and then a haphazard, multi-line outline. I went with the clean cut one sewn line in the end. I think this may be the start of a new love.
